Ascent Trip ReportSummit of Hamlin from NW Basin Trail and Davis Pond campsite. The day was spectacular with excellent views and low wind. Hiked 26 miles into Baxter State Park from Roaring Brook to Wassataquoik Stream to Russell Pond to Davis Pond to Chimney Pond and back to Roaring Brook. Spectacular trip and excellent variation of outdoor wilderness. |
