Ascent Trip ReportA drive up to the Pavillion Arthabaska offering great view of the Victoriaville area ... the summit, a short 60 meter climb to the south , is capped with an Illuminated Cross and a number of Communication Towers
The mountain is today known as Mont Arthabaska, besides its summit Pavillion it offers a network of multi-use trails on its northern slopes, a very popular destination. Unfortunately the Pavillion only opens late in the day.
From the intersection of Boulevard Arthabaska(#161)/Bois-des-Francs in Victoriaville we went east on Bois-de-Francs for 3km to a left turn onto the signed Chemin du Mont-Arthabaska (used to be called Mont St Michel) which took us .6km to the parking at Pavillion Arthabaska.
