Ascent Trip ReportWhat a difference 76 days makes!
After our previous unsuccessful attempt in adverse conditions in July we returned as a side trip during a week of climbing and scrambling in Skye and Torridon. This time we had perfect weather, blue skies, no wind, dry rock, extensive views, someone who knew the correct route and only swarms of midges to compromise the experience. We achieved a full traverse of the whole mountain with all of its outcrops and pinnacles giving a great morning's outing before rewarding ourselves with afternoon coffee and cakes in the West Coast Delicatessen in Ullapool (strongly recommended). |
