Ascent Trip Report

Kelso Ridge is easy to find and follow. It's a great alternative to the main route, fun and pretty easy ascent to Torreys, except when it is raining as it was on this day. The knife edge section though very short can be extremely dangerous when the rock is wet. I bypassed the knife edge by descending slightly to the north west on the loose slopes. That was pretty challenging and not fun at all. Otherwise the route is straightforward and very easy class 3. Photos from the day: http://thistrail.com/in/?p=3403
