Ascent Trip Report

We then turned back and found the Akamina ridge trail, which we followed for a while. There were absolutely no views and the wind was strong. The fog did not lift when we got to the highest point. We first stopped at a small cairn, which wasn't actually the high point, but we then found the real cairn ten meters further up. we made our way down quickly and the fog was gone, once we were at the turnoff towards Wall Lake. Since it was foggy the whole time up on Akamina ridge, we had no view and hurried back down to enjoy a long lunch at beautiful Wall Lake. The rest of the trail was easy and almost seven hours later we were back at the car. We saw some partridges along the trail, and overall it was a successful hike to complete the Triple Crown challenge with less than favorable conditions.
