Ascent Trip ReportFrom the Grant MacEwan we ridge walked till we got to the crux, we weren't sure which route to take down. The rock was steep and could not be descended easily, John went around and found another way down. This was one of my favorite part of the entire day, ended up free climbed our way down (about 10 M) to the lower part of the ridge John and I both agreed class 4 scrambling we stayed on the ridge and had to cross some knife edged ridges for once we had a non windy day this made it a breeze and a ton of fun. for the finial push we used the scree slope right before the West summit as our ascent and shortly after we were on top of Twin Tower West. We had lunch (also my first) We then continued to the East Tower which was only 15 minutes away. The view over Barrier Lake from this summit is amazing also I reminisced of my grade 11 hike by the lake and could see the look out from the towers that I hiked with my grade 11 PE class 9 years ago. after a quick break we descended the same way and climbed the same rock route as well.
