Ascent Trip Report

Carthew-Alderson Hike with John and Ashleigh. Since we didn't find the SW route after Summit Lake, we decided to scramble up to the ridge and walk up to the summit. Made for a nice easy walk to the summit, Winds however were very high at the top, as well as rain showers on the way down to Carthew Lakes. We took the route down to Waterton townsite, on the way it rained off and on. This hike without the summit is part of the Triple Crown Challenge. Next time we will aim for Alderson as well with the winds it was just to risky
