Ascent Trip ReportLovely hike from the Ferguson Canyon Trailhead. Was mostly overcast, which was nice. Got an early start. I chose a good point to double back to catch Storm Mountain, made for relatively easy going. On the other hand, At one point on the ridge above Storm, I chose very badly and had to backtrack and the climb a squirrely chute. Should have stuck to the ridge. Once I got up on top of the ridge, the route wasn't bad at all. Quickly hit the West peak, and then headed down. I pondered trying the triple traverse, but wasn't really comfortable on Jepsen's, especially given that there was a bit of hail. The West ridge is a bit too sketchy for my liking. So I decided to bail and went down the chute between Jepsen's and O'Sullivan (although the route up O'Sullivan looked easy, I've never been on this ridge so didn't know what might be on the other side. From the perspective of my chair now, it would have probably been easier to just go over O'Sullivan rather than the awkward downclimb I chose.
