Ascent Trip Report

We used GPS to get us to Council Crest Park. Just park anywhere where there are no "no parking" signs. It is less than a minute walk to the top where water tower sits. Looking at other TR's, again I took the easiest possible way to the top. To do this as a more legit climb, see other TR's. We walked the perimeter of the water tower which is on the highest ground to make sure we got the truly tallest point! Apparently there are views from the top of the Portland area, Mount Hood, Adams, St. Helens and even Rainier! I unfortunately cannot confirm this as there was MAJOR smoke pollution filling the air from the 100+ fires burning in the northwest.
