Ascent Trip ReportAfter summitting Peerless and Horseshoe after a drive up 18 and 603 (and additional road walk on 603) I continued over un 13576 and un 13717 before ascending Ptarmigan. Ptarmigan had some scree and talus to deal with but there was a trail of sorts to follow. Not that difficult an ascent. The hike between Horseshoe and Ptarmigan was windy, but also wildflower wild. Did cross paths with a sheep hunter. Neither he nor I had seen any. |
