Ascent Trip Report

I used this address to get to the hill:

227 Tower Hill Road
Cumberland, RI 02864

I drove up the driveway and knocked on the door of the house with my son to ask permission to access both the benchmark and peak of Beacon Pole Hill. No one answered the door. There are camera's in numerous locations on the house and barn. There is also a sign that says "under video surveillance.". We walked first to the peak of Beacon Pole hill. There are park benches in multiple locations and the top is very beautiful. We took some pictures and then walked back to the house and to the east to find the benchmark. It is very easy to find and there is a very small triangle marker with three concrete post holes where something used to stand. Both points are very easy to access if the owner of the house grants permission.
