Ascent Trip ReportPerfect day, our 30th state highpoint. Made it 0.9 miles up the 4x4 TH with our Outback, but stopped because I got scared we were going to get stuck on a hump. Plenty of places to pull off and sleep in the car along the 4x4 road.
Started at 4:30am and summited at 9am. Victoria was feeling the elevation so we were moving slow. Left the summit at 9:30am, arrived back at car at noon. Much quicker on the way down. GPS registered total distance of 10.3 miles (including 2.4miles RT spent walking the rest of the 4x4 road).
