Ascent Trip Report

Parked at McKinley Hollow Road Trailhead and took Oliverea-Mapledale (Red) Trail to Pine Hill West Branch (Blue) Trail to the summit. Not too cold. A few people had been up that way in the past week or so, so we didn't have to completely break the trail. One guy (a snowmaker at Hunter Mountain) was ahead of us and we met him on the way back down. Bobby something-or-other. He was about at the same point we were: 27 or 28/39, this was his second winter peak. This was 28/39 for us and Blackhead is our last winter peak left.

Beautiful day. Decent views from the summit. Windy once we turned onto PHWB.
