Ascent Trip Report

I headed South on the PCT from Birdsong Pass towards Wyley’s Knob (6465’). As I traveled I could see the radio towers on the summit 1110’ above me. I traveled quickly for about 2 miles down the PCT which had some snow on it in the shady areas. I turned off the PCT and climbed steeply up road SC69 for about a half mile to the summit. There were radio towers at the top, and I located no register. I traveled quickly back downhill to finish this last hike of the day which was about 5 miles with an elevation gain of 1110’.
