Ascent Trip ReportBeautiful January day for a hike, albeit a cold one. Very easy climb with my friend Igor Sevonkaev and we went very slowly. It wasn't the hike that was a challenge, we just stopped a lot to tell jokes or take pictures. Ended up spending about an hour on the summit. Luckily someone had gotten the door to the fire tower open (I was told that about 2 weeks ago that it was frozen shut) and we were able to get many nice pictures and enjoy the view. All in all, it was a short but very enjoyable trip. |
