Ascent Trip Report Jasper and I started from the parking area on Hwy 180 for the Jacks Knob Trail. The trail up the South Wolfpen Ridge is an easy climb due to the many switchbacks and the dry trail. After about 2 hrs of hiking uphill we summitted the S. Wolfpen Ridge highpoint and took a little break before moving on to Brasstown Bald.
