Ascent Trip ReportMt. Marcy was one of 8 peaks in the Adirondacks that we topped out on during this trip. The High Peaks region is a beautiful place, but far too many people. While on the move we traversed Mt. Marcy and during a rainy stretch, but were rewarded with a respite. Though cloudy, the route was very straightforward - rocky summit, and down the other side toward Marcy Dam. Lush, green, and a lot of running water made us feel like we were in another place.
