Ascent Trip Report

Awesome run in Mount Washington and first time sky running! I think I can call it like that, it's got the characteristics, some 30% grade and over 6000ft altitude. Even chips pack got swollen like in a plane. It was dangerous too, I got lost at the top where I almost summited Eisenhower. Didn't know I was this closed! But it was pretty crazy, running on a mountain ridge without any trees little vegetation, into clouds and steep downhills on both sides. I went up taking Ammonoosuc, too steep to run into with huge rocks. Higher up I could run more. I took the Jewel trail on the way down and could run most of it. However I sprained my ankle badly. At some point I hyper dorsiflexed the left ankle and later did an inversion with a loud crack. I can't swim or run right now, but it should get better fast I hope, I can already walk on it without too much pain. Landscape was amazing up there, even saw a small lake near the summit in the clouds. I can't wait to go back.
