Grove Hill contends with Briar Hill, Wexford County HP, for the state prominence leader and Lower Peninsula highpoint titles.
I approached from the south and east. From the junction of MI-115 and 61, go NW on 115 for 5.7miles and turn left (west) onto 20 Mile Road. Go 4.7 miles and turn right (north) onto 130th. Avenue (Dighton Road). After 2.4 miles turn right into the somewhat obscure driveway signed for Grove Hill Park. I repeated Fred Lobdell's wanderings (see cohp.org) and agree with his conclusions that the main Grove Hill is higher than the areas to the north and across 130th. Avenue to the west. During my visit, this seemingly obscure hill had cars bearing license plates from Florida, Ohio, and New Jersey.
