Ascent Trip Report

3rd CoHP today.

I parked near the gate and gravel road leading to the CoHP. The other side of this gate is an old blue trailer house. I went through a little bit of woods by my car and entered gravel road just inside the gate. This road takes you close to the CoHP.

Follow this gravel road past the tin barn to where the road forks. Stay left. Go a short distance and turn right. This road circles around past a deer hunting stand to the CoHP. You will reach the highest point in the road. You are very near. There are several candidates. I spent time crisscrossing the area to make sure I hit them all. I think the highest are near an oak tree, with narrow leaves, about 6 inches in diameter with two cedar trees near it. The other candidates are within 30-40 yards of this oak tree in the direction of the bigger cedar tree.

My guess is it maybe about one mile hike from the Hwy.

CAUTION: This is a hunting club. I would not go near this place around hunting season.
