Ascent Trip ReportGreat trip. Accompanied by four close family and friends. Left 302 on Webster-Jackson trail. Stopped to check out Elephant Head and Bugle Cliff. Took the Webster Branch to Mt. Webster. Followed the Webster Cliff Trail to Mt. Jackson and then on to AMC Mizpah Spring Hut. Left hut on Webster Cliff Trail to Mt. Pierce. After Pierce, quickly met up with Crawford Path where we went southwest back to 302. On the short road walk back to car, took the trail that surrounds the Saco Lake. Trails were pretty wet, but manageable. Weather was fabulous. Views of the Whites and Mt. Washington were stunning. |
