Ascent Trip Report

Quick day trip with my wife. Got to the trailhead around 2pm, spent about 2 hours up, 1 hour at the top, 1 hour down. It was over 90 degrees out and we stopped often for water. Lots of horseflies and gnats. Getting to the true summit requires a little bit of scrambling and a short jaunt along a precarious knife edge. Beautiful views.

That said, I don't know which is the true summit. There are 6 of them, and the trail approaches from the south. Trail bypasses the first two and reaches a soft end at the third peak. You can then continue to the fourth and fifth peaks, the latter of which appears to be the true summit, having the USGS marker and everything. However, the sixth and last peak looks like it could be at least the same height. There wasn't any reasonable route up to it though so I called it good on the fifth peak. I think the USGS marker justifies it.
