Ascent Trip ReportThis was considerably easier than I thought. The trail was exceptional up to "chicken-out ridge" which was easy enough. While my group lost the "official" route, plenty of routes are easy to go over the ridge with the easiest of class 3 scrambling.
After the small snow-crossing, be sure to stay left (unless there's too much snow) - there is a nice trail going around the bump marked 11898'. After the next saddle (at just under 11,800'), the route becomes unclear with apparent routes going every which way. If you want to avoid more class 3, stay as left as possible (again, unless there's too much snow). That said, the class 3 was fun.
