Ascent Trip Report

The road in is as bad as advertised. The hike is fairly short, but steep. No other concerns, as it is no more than class 2 with maybe some easy class three moves near the summit. The worst part of the day (outside of the road condition) was the heat and the climb back up from the lake. There is a fair amount of brush at the start, and although there is a faint use trail, it's easy to lose. If you find yourself in severe bushwhacking terrain, you've lost the "trail". Back off and try to re-find it. There are "easy" routes through it. After that, there are no real route finding issues.
