Ascent Trip ReportTrail run/hike to Zeacliff, Zealand, Guyot, West Bond then back to the Zealand parking lot. A good amount of pretty flat runnable trail. Almost the whole way to the Zealand Hut is runnable. Gorgeous views at Zeacliff, Guyot and especially West Bond. Zealand parking lot only had 4 spaces left at 8:40. West Bond may have some of my favorite views in the whites. Was planning to bag Hale on my way back if time allowed... and although I had the time my legs were spent so decided to head straight back to Zealand. Took about 6 hours averaging about 22 minute miles. Nice clear day with great views, although it hadn't rained seeping water did create some slick rocks in spots. |
