Ascent Trip ReportSolo hike of Crawford Path on a perfect Sunday in early June. I did Pierce -> Eisenhower -> Pierce -> Mizpah Hut and back to my car. Ran into some great fellow hikers along the way and traded stories. I had some Whiskey Jacks eating a crushed up granola bar out of my hand on top of Pierce. Slightly breezy and muddy with a couple glimpses of snow off in the distance but nothing along the trail.
Mizpah Hut was a rewarding stop as I got to enjoy some vegetarian chili with quinoa in it and a coffee. A very memorable day in the Southern Presidentials.
