Ascent Trip ReportHaving done this one from the east (the substation) fifteen years ago, I opted to approach from the south this time. The track road gate is about 1/2 mile SW of the 423/196 junction. If you reach the sharp bend to the left on 423 under the power lines, you have gone too far. Used J.A. Laverdure's waypoints, which worked fine. I ascended the ledges directly north of the end of the track road and then had to bushwhack slowly east through crud on top. Better to have followed his trace east on a faint track remnant and headed north from just south of the highpoint. In fact, if I did this one again, I would approach from the east, as it is shorter and more straightforward.
