Ascent Trip ReportThis state park starts at the beach and goes up into the San Joaquin Mountains. On the COHP website the highpoint of this state park is incorrectly listed as Signal Hill (which is the HP of the San Joaquin Mountains). The actual highpoint of Crystal Cove SP is further east. At the end of Ridge Park Road, you park and head down and east and aim for the highest hill about a half mile away. The first hill's SW slope is the where the park line supposedly is according to their maps and DeLorme.
