Ascent Trip Report

I came in from Giltedge Road, then up Maiden Canyon off of Hwy 200 from the east side of the mountain. Not a bad road, recent road work on Maiden Canyon made this part not bad. A few ruts at the beginning of Maiden canyon would be hard if the road was wet, high clearance best here. At the end of Maiden canyon, you come to a main road, take a right. Follow the main road past camp Maiden and then to the top. An air force station communications tower and various buildings sit on the top. Just before the top a main road forks to the right, you can take this to the top of Red Mountain.
Walked around the various graded areas and what looked somewhat natural to make sure I got the high point.
No views as it was actually snowing and low clouds this day.
I hit a few other peaks in the area as well.
I came out on the main Maiden road that comes in from the West off highway 191. I would recommend this road to anyone in a passenger car. It was newly graded at the top, and paved for a few miles at the bottom. There is a sign indicating Judith peak at the bottom of this road.
