Ascent Trip Report

I followed Ben Lostracco's report both for driving there and walking the high point area. Like Ben I started at the gate on the track up to the microwave towers and then bushwhacked roughly west along the ridge. This allowed me to cross the several bumps shown on the topo map. I wasn't quite sure where the county line was, but at least I passed over the several contour bumps shown on the map. The bushwhacking was easier than most Pa. bushwhacks I've done--few thorn bushes, relatively little dead fall and fairly thin underbrush. But hot! I bushwhacked down to the State Game Land road on the way back. Saw several deer.
