Ascent Trip ReportSunday morning hike up Mt Willard. Parked at Crawford House where there were about a dozen other cars.
Almost the entire trail was covered in snow and I microspiked the entire ascent and descent. The views on top were stellar, as one can assume. Even though clouds were rolling in, the notch was beautiful with clear views far south to the Tripyramids. Hung out on top for a half hour and then RAN down.
Near the bottom, I saw lots of inexperienced hikers with no backpacks, no water, and hiking in jeans. That's a perfect sign that winter is done in the white's.
