Ascent Trip ReportFrom the highway, take the steeper road (220, to the right of 2660) which is narrow but easily drivable. At 2.0 miles is a road that T's in from the left. Follow it south for 0.65 miles to its end at the edge of a clear-cut (walk or higher clearance vehicle advised). Head west up open country to the top. The highpoint is hard to determine. We wandered around until we were satisfied that we had covered the summit area. Unfortunately the views are quite limited.
There is a marked, north/south trail that traverses the summit. This might be a better hiking option, although its trailheads (north and south) are at a lower elevation than the point we started from.
