Ascent Trip ReportTurn onto Blue Box Pass Road off of Highway 26 (Road 2660 I believe). It is very easy to miss as it is just kind of a dirt road off the side. As soon as you have made the turn off you will be faced with a road junction. Take the Higher road to the right (Road 220) Not road 2660 as it will be a longer hike and steeper approach. The road is pretty much a one way dirt road. Travel exactly 2.0 miles up the road and you will come to a T. Turn right. You can go straight but it will take you to the other side of the summit and appears to be a slightly longer hike. Follow to the right for 0.65 miles to its end. A couple of rocky sections might be a clearance issue for a standard car or van during the last half-mile. At the end of the road, cross country west through a recent clear-cut to the top. The highpoint is hard to determine. We visited several rocks which are candidates for summit honors.
There is a marked, north/south trail that traverses the summit just feet to the east of the summits rocks. No views at the top.
