DPS/WTC trip led by Crystal Davis (I-provisional) and Neal Robbins. Sat hiked to Panamint City and explored remains of old mining town. Sun took road up to mine, then ridge to summit of Sentinel Peak. Great weather, long views. Hike out was hot (90s). Good amount of water in stream (from springs) with many crossings. Piped spring water in town. Road to trailhead excellent dirt. Flat areas to camp at trailhead. Slept out on a tarp. Comfortably warm and dry.
