Ascent Trip Report

A service road walk .... .5 miles, 30 minutes RT

There is large overlook parking at the Fred Long Centennial Park on the west side of hwy #219, 4.6 miles south of the bridge over the Blackwater River in Thomas. The overlook offers nice views to the west.

A gated service road leaves the east of #219 and climbs east 400 yards to the top .... capped with a fenced-in Water Tank and Communication Tower, a broken down old block building is to one side. The actual HP is inside the beautiful pine woods, east of the Tank at GPS 39.14740,-79.57039.

No views and not really worth the effort if not for the large pine woods.

DON'T ARGUE WITH AN IDIOT ... THOSE WATCHING MAY NOT BE ABLE TO TELL THE DIFFERENCE."
