Ascent Trip ReportBeautiful spontaneous day. Arrived at the trail head early and was the first to summit. Climbers beware the parking fills up fast and is located at the end of the road that you find Mt Si trail head on. Hiked about 3 miles to Kamikaze Falls for a great rest break. At that point i followed what seemed to be a well maintained trail that switched backed up just on the east of the falls. this trail turns into a unimproved root, mud, and in this case some snow scramble for about 2 miles to the summit (think old mailbox trail). Views are of course stunning in this rewarding hike. |
