Ascent Trip Report

Last of the Blue hills. Due to the distance of the TH to the summit, opted for using a bike, albeit, a junker. Road required a lot of extra elevation. At about 1180 feet the road ends and there is a use trail that circumnavigates the summit by several feet. Not sure where it ultimately goes, but once I figured out it did not lead to the summit, I bushwhacked up the most seemingly closest route with the least shrubbery resistance. The summit was a nice clearing of moss with no views or any trace of visitation for that matter. Up against the clock for a kids birthday party we had to attend in about an hour and a half, I bushwhacked a different way down, hit the trail and headed back to the road. Awesome views of Seattle skyline, Tacoma, and the surrounding cascade mountain ranges from afar. Brought binoculars which made it quite enjoyable. Bike was awesome and couldn't imagine the trip without it.

Elevation and mileage is off bike. TH starts at 560 elevation and total mileage is 14 miles round trip.
