Ascent Trip Report

As of 3/23/15 one could carefully drive a 4WD vehicle all the way to the river crossing. There are a couple tight sections, between boulders, on the road but when I was up there, there were 5 trucks including a tundra who had driven all the way down to the river crossing. There is also one sketchy section at about 6.5 - 7 miles from the highway where the road is quite narrow and at a bit of a side angle with the Price River 20 feet below. Had I not parked at the 5.2 mile area from the highway, that section probably would have stopped me.
I stopped my GPS track after I worked my way back down to the road after summiting. On my descent I followed a steep ridge down bypassing a huge switchback in the road, at about the 5600' to 5200' area, saving me about .75 miles.
