Ascent Trip Report

Weather was awesome but expected to be rainy all day thanks to Walter the weather guy, so limited plans for peak bagging. Daughter and I decided to advance our claim on completing the Blue Hills. Started out at rock quarry road gate and initially took wrong vertical road which ended in quarry with no option to continue. Back tracked out and continued on hill up to trail between summit.s which ended just shy of peak with oval 1240 ft contour line. Bushwhacked up remaining footage to nice clearing with fire pit. Hit high ground just out of clearing and descended down nice trail in direction of peak 1291.

At road between summits found a nice trail leading directly up to clear cut summit. By far my favorite Blue Hill peak. Awesome views of the Olympics with not one soul around. Ate lunch and headed down in about 25 minutes.
