Ascent Trip Report

Started out around 8:15 AM (Mountain Time) in Frenchman's Canyon and just followed the road to the top. Just hiked by the FAA dome (noisy sucker) and up to the knoll to the North, which was the summit for Eagle Peak. Didn't stay long as it was wet and chilly (pretty socked in) and stopped on top of the switchbacks down into the canyon, had lunch, and I decided to bag Peak 7280 as well while "Wildflower" hung out and rested.

Many thanks to the property owners who let us on their ranch to gain access!

From the summit of Eagle Peak, we use a little photographic trickery here to show Wildflower warming her hand on the FAA radar dome on this cold rainy day! (2015-03-17). Photo by Matt Sedlak.
