Ascent Trip ReportBeautiful day, clear blue skies. hiked through a beautiful hemlock stand and some old growth forest. Saw signs of pileated woodpecker. Last mile of the hike was incredibly steep, but the summit was gorgeous. Stayed up at the summit for about 30 min, then butt-slid down about a mile all together. Tons of fun. |
