Ascent Trip Report

I have seen this mountain from my In-laws house south of the peak and it had been calling my name for a few years. I attempted once but the grass was too high and slippery. A little while later (this attempt) I made it to the summit, only to realize from the house it was a false summit and I had a little more to go. Then realizing there is an actual trail on the north side of the mountain, which by the log book seemed to be much easier than bushwhacking up the south side. Brutal steep both directions.
