Ascent Trip Report

Spent Friday night at Lye Creek Campground. From Hinkey Summit drove to end of 4WD road. Hiked around small peak to Granite peak, had to scramble quite a bit as it was steep, rocky and there was no trail. Climbed 1000 feet in less than a mile. The whole hike was less than 2 miles, so we got back early, broke camp and decided to bag buckskin peak on the way home.
