Ascent Trip Report

Snowny day, left from trail-head on Bear lake Rd. Not quite sure how long the hike was mile wise, but took about 40-60 min. to get to the observation tower on Pine hill. It is also accessible by driving. We then followed the Pinchot trail-Pine Hill trail to Pine hill road, a drivable trail to the south bound part of the Pinchot trail then taking a left on to a trail name I forget which took us back to the original trail we started from on the way to Pine Hill. Total time for us was about 3 hours of hiking, it was a rather nice quiet walk int he snow.
