Ascent Trip ReportStart traveling uphill just behind the bathroom at a curve in the road. Some intrepid souls have cut branches and left some yellow ties and small rock cairns along a very faint use trail. The brush is occasionally thick outside this trail so be sure to locate it.
Proceed past a false summit with obscured views to a 40' rock tower and scramble to the top where there are expansive views. We suspected that this point was highest from the road leading to Wright peak, which we climbed first, and it was confirmed when standing on top of the rock tower on South Peak. Previous reports indicate there are no views from the top, so they may have stopped short of the true high point.
