Ascent Trip ReportI wish I could tell you specific directions to this one, but we got lost and found our way by traveling down multiple roads. We did go out the Alsea Highway to Fall Creek Road, up it about 9 miles. From there, we bumbled around. If you can find Grass Mountain Road(seems obvious, but finding it was challenging to us), that one will take you where you need to go. Our directions were not specific. Once you get to the top of the drivable road, it is just over 2 miles to the summit on an old road that has been ditched and overgrown some. It is not a bad walk up, nothing steep or hard. The views west and south are nice. The summit has some old footing for a lookout or some other structure. |
