Ascent Trip ReportWe used Ken Jones' directions and our Garmin car GPS. At about mile 6 on the Trask Mountain road the GPS lost the way, but the road there was obvious. If in doubt once you are on a gravel road after the gate, stay on the main road and you will get there. The only expecption to this is at the top when you will turn left and go up the final quarter mile of road before you start your hike.
We took our truck, but it was not needed. A passenger car would make this drive easily. You will have a dirty car when you are done, but it will make it.
The final hike is easy. a quarter mile, at the most. The top is a small meadow with an old brick doorstep near the south side by a tree. I can't comment on the view, as it was foggy for us.
