Ascent Trip Report

Did not like the parking on the top of the hill near the private drive so I went back down hill a bit to where there is a small gravel parking to serve a lift station and parked. Headed up the county road and found the property and drive. No Trespassing sign posted and a building permit. I walked up the drive to the house and saw no people or cars but found nobody to ask for permission. Not willing to simply go up and trespass.....I walked downhill away from where I was parked and spied the antennae on the hilltop. The old fence disappears or at least is trampled to the ground and covered with briers where the power lines go up hill. I walked over headed up a nice steep hill bushwhack avoiding briers and down trees and enjoyed some fall color in the hardwoods. From this entry, I saw no signs of development and have no idea whether it was a trespass. I so no signs and like I mentioned the fence by the road is totally gone in places and not maintained. I respected giving plenty of space and privacy between the structures I had seen earlier. It sprinkled gently. Up and down easily. No great views. Ugly radio tower at top.
