Ascent Trip Report

Started at 10:43 AM. Didn't see where the turn off was for the trail which goes around the backside of the north peak, so followed the trail which traverses the east face. Once I saw a good route up towards the ridge of North Peak, I went straight up, abandoning the trail. It was fairly steep, but put me in good position to cross wolf pass. Reached the top of the ridge at 12:25. I descended to the pass, then followed the trail the rest of the way. Reached top at 1:25.

Big surprise for me: there was a trail from wolf pass to the peak. Sure, there are good chunks of easy scrambling, but it is actually a trail, contrary to what I had read.

Started descent at 1:31. On the descent, I cut straight down from wolf pass instead of ascending to the ridge of the North Peak. Very easy going, and pretty fast as well. Reached trailhead at 3:30 PM.
