Ascent Trip Report

Stopped on the way to La Beauce from home in Montreal's West Island to bag this peak with the family. My wife and one of my two daughters went up with me while the other one waited for us at the car.

Climbed by one of the ski slope to the ridge and then followed the ridge to the summit. We passed the big antenna along the ridge, then down a little bit by 5 vertical meters and then up again to the summit. On the way we saw the rope with the numerous no trespassing signs. At the summit, we spotted the benchmark. The 360 view was great in this somewhat overcast fall day. We took a lot of pictures.

Climbing the ridge from the east, the big antenna is about 80 vertical meters before the summit. The small antenna is west of the summit. We didn't reach it because we stopped at the summit. The little antenna is about 10 or 15 meters lower and farther west.

We came back down following the trail along the ridge eastward. The trail turned back west a couple hundreds of horizontal meters before the parking.
